For anyone who has struggled to make sense of the Federal Register PDF format within which the CFTC publish their rules, at OTC HQ we have begun a process of producing ‘cleaned up’ versions of the regulations, in a more readable format, minus the summaries, comments and other padding. Follow the link below to read 6 items in the “Data” category, covering Swap Data Repositories and Trade Reporting. If this is helpful for you, let me know which other areas of rules you’d like us to clean up and we will attempt to oblige. Bill.

Nice one! Can you do the same for the COT data?!
The COT data seems to come in a report format, and a CSV format underneath – not sure what someone would do to ‘clean up’ that data, it’s pretty terse as-is. If you have a budget, send a spec.
