Think before updating to iOS 6: maps go backwards

The new maps from Apple show a sad backward step, below is satellite view of my home, where previously I had a detailed view of the town. In case you didn’t know, there’s no Street view with iOS 6 either. All quite sad, I shall remain on iOS 5 on my iPad for now.
