First-Ever TEDxWallStreet to focus on ‘Redefining Success’ in a challenging world Leaders and entrepreneurs from various industries will convene at the New York Stock Exchange to share innovative and compelling ideas New York, March 13, 2012 –

The first-ever TEDxWallStreet, a not-for-profit event, will convene on March 30 at the New York Stock Exchange where pioneering thought leaders will address a diverse audience of 300 business, social and academic influencers, as well as a global audience via live webcast.

The discussion will focus on “Redefining Success,” within the Wall Street community and beyond. “We are thrilled to host the first TEDxWallStreet at the New York Stock Exchange,” said Duncan L. Niederauer, CEO, NYSE Euronext. “We share with TEDxWallStreet the value of open dialogue and the power of ideas, and we work to foster an environment where innovative thinking is transformed into focused solutions.”

Event Host Announced–Stephanie N. Mehta is the Executive Editor at FORTUNE, where she directs technology, international and Washington coverage, and contributes to the overall editorial direction of the magazine. Mehta is a key contributor to the magazine’s live events, and serves as co-chair of Fortune’s MPW Summit and Brainstorm Tech conference. Previously, Mehta was an assistant managing editor and global editor of the magazine. Prior to these positions, she covered the telecommunications and media industries for the magazine. Mehta recently was recognized by the National Council for Research on Women as one of 30 leaders changing the way looks at women, an honor roll of leaders who have advanced women’s issues and helped reshape the way the world views women.
