Dan has been a Partner at New Link Consulting since January 2014 and is co-head of the Regulatory Practice. He has over 17 years’ experience in the financial markets. Having spent most of his career working in top tier investment banks including RBS, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan Chase, Dan has led Change Management functions, as well as Middle office functions covering multiple asset classes (complex and vanilla).
Owing to the diversity of his background in Banking, Dan has excellent front to back business knowledge, in particular the processing of OTC Derivatives trades. His strengths also lie in his knowledge of project process and governance, and in practical programme and portfolio management.
Having been at JP Morgan for the Chase merger and later at RBS for the ABN AMRO aquisition, Dan also has valuable experience in large scale integrations and re-structures.
Dan’s delivery experience includes business process and technology programmes, such as Process and Control Improvement and Market Initiatives programmes, through his role as Head of IRD Operations Change. In more recent years he has worked closely on Financial Markets regulation covering Trade Reporting and Clearing.
