Extraterritorial Implications of Dodd Frank, via DerivSource.com
Over at www.derivsource.com here is a podcast on Extraterritorial issues featuring Donna Parisi from Shearman and Sterling, and David Lucking from Allen & Overy. Meanwhile over at Granularity Ltd, and on her blog, Kathleen Tyson Quah (profile here) has summarised the points from the Podcast, links below.
Overall, and not surprising, is many rules are yet to be made, and of the ones made, the US & European regulators have yet to compare notes and create a sensible working environment for OTC participants.
