A supplementary Q&A from ESMA sets out further challenges for firms to implement trade reporting.
A supplementary Q&A from ESMA sets out further challenges for firms to implement trade reporting. This supplement covers questions such as:
- What practical steps should a firm reporting to a trade repository take to demonstrate a commitment to resolving breaks between the submissions to two TRs ?
- In what format are TRs expected to disclose the reported data publicly ?
- Given the absence of a single taxonomy covering OTC and Exchange Traded Product, how is ESMA going to bring those two markets together ?
- Since the approval of NASDAQ OMX on March 18th the market would like clarification on how to price OTC products until the clearing mandate becomes effective
