Position: Senior Developer

Location: London

Duco requires the skills of a highly talented senior software engineer to help us develop the world's leading hosted data reconciliation service.

Responsibilities

• Contribute code to the core product
• Contribute code to the service infrastructure
• Code review your peers' contributions
• Act as second-line support for service issues
• Optionally, earn more by performing first-line support duties

Mandatory

• A Computer Science degree from a reputable university
• 5+ years experience
• Deep experience of at least one object-oriented language (C++ and Java especially)
• Deep experience of at least one dynamically-typed language (Python or Ruby are good)
• Confident command of SQL and relational database concepts
• Version control with Git

Beneficial

• In-depth knowledge of Coffeescript/Javascript
• Deep experience of web development
• Very comfortable with a flavour of Linux OS
• Experience of a configuration management tool, such as Puppet or Chef

Compensation

• Base salary of £50k – £60k
• Participation in the company bonus pool, which is based on company revenue targets
• Stakeholder pension of 5% of base salary after a trial period
• Participation in company options pool
