Position: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: London

Duco requires the skills of an advanced DevOps ninja to help us operate and grow the world's leading hosted data reconciliation service.

Responsibilities

• Keep the service up and running smoothly at all times!
• Help improve the build and deploy processes
• Help to administer all internal tools and services (Atlassian stack, DNS, etc)
• Perform service rollouts

Mandatory

• Strong knowledge of Ubuntu Linux administration
• Relational database administration and SQL scripting
• TCP/IP network administration
• Version control with Git
• Configuration management automation experience, using one of Chef, Puppet, Salt, etc.
• Strong handle on Bash command line and scripting

Beneficial

• In-depth knowledge of VMWare
• In-depth knowledge of Puppet and Hiera
• In-depth knowledge of replicated MySQL
• Confident command of one of Javascript, Java or Ruby
• A Computer Science degree
• Working knowledge of security standards, such as ISO27001

Compensation

• Base salary of £45k – £60k
• Participation in the company bonus pool, which is based on company revenue targets
• Stakeholder pension of 5% of base salary after a trial period
• Participation in company options pool
