Craig uncovers more details about the JP Whale trades, interestingly the CDX IG 9 index is eligible for clearing at ICE in the US – so did they clear the trades and pay the initial margin also? Did ICE see these positions arrive and present an unusual risk profile?

Anyone know if they saw these clear? Or were on the other side of the trades?
