It's probably by far the best presentation on trade reporting I have come across, at least until today. One could argue that this is a promoting presentation for REGIS-TR and SWIFT services yet I have to say that it is quite an in depth analysis by Deloitte which by using these two companies just convey their message. It does not only highlight relevant theoretical parts but it also provides practical cases that clarify things about the Reporting process and roles based on different reporting scenarios. Apart from the Review of Trade Repository Services offered by Regis TR, which is detailed and answers quite a few questions around reporting flow, account structures and technical access issues, it also contains valuable information on how SWIFT (the most widely used application within Credit Institutions at least) can help with Reporting. Last but not least it gives guidance as to what should be the next steps and highlights key take aways. The pdf can be found here. P.
