The CFTC updated their list of provisionally registered Swap Dealers (SDs) on 18th October 2013. A list of conditions under which a party must register (PDF) as a Swap Dealer can be found on their site. The list contains 87 separate entries, confirmed in a recent interview with Gary Gensler in The Washington Post.

I should point out that the list may only contain 86 unique different dealers, as the following appear to be duplicates:

• NORTHERN TRUST COMPANY THE
• THE NORTHERN TRUST COMPANY
