They’re going to have to find a new name for the combined entity as ICE NYSE Euronext doesn’t really sound snappy.  I wonder if ICE will move into Rates clearing using the assumed project at LIFFE in London and push the futurisation of rates products to keep up with CME? The deal may be announced next week.
