My latest piece over at FTSE Global Markets below. Since writing it I discovered CME Rule 1001 which negates one of my comments about firms having to avoid clearing with CME to avoid their SDR, you can read more in this post https://theotcspace.com/2013/02/09/cme-1001-appendix-b-sdr-lock-in-avoided/ I wrote recently. Is anyone else puzzled by the explosion of SDRs? Also, is the LEI system really going to be active in March? My impression was that they had yet to design the infrastructure – anyone know better?
